OMEGA DISTRICT MEETING IN THE FOREST

Well, I wanted a different setting for district meeting and district photo, and I got it! I'm a little late in posting this, but after our district meeting in the Zollikofen chapel, we had a little grill in the forest behind the temple, as a goodby to Elder Norris and Elder Rowley. This was our district leader's last week. We only got Elder Norris for one transfer (six weeks) but he made a great impact!

Elder King, our soon to be new district leader, and zone leaders Elder Hafen and Elder Rowley helping set things up.

The sisters found marshmallows--that's not easy in Switzerland!
Chocolate is easy to find here. The Swiss consume more chocolate than people in any other country in the world. It's a fact--look it up!
We made s'mores! Yummm!

Always smiling!

So refined!

Patience . . .

Get right in there, Elder G!

And here is our official district portrait.
(It's not on the couch in the center, for once.)
Have you ever seen a campfire with people in skirts and ties? Elders Schultz and Heath had the right idea
Each one of these people is superior in his or her own way.

SCENES OF PFINGSTLAGER

The young single adults of the Bern stake planned a weekend camp in the mountains over a holiday weekend. It was a perfect spot--just gorgeous, but where in Switzerland is there not gorgeous?

The following are just of our visit on Sunday

Elder Louis Weidmann, Area Seventy, was the fireside speaker on Sunday.
Stake President Yves Weidmann and his wife attended Sunday.

Michelle Moessner was the chair of the event.
